A young and vibrant kid started his journey on 18th August 2008 to become what he is now the best in Cricket. Virat Kohli made his debut against Sri Lanka in Dambulla on 18th August 2008. He was picked up as opener for the series in absence of the great duo Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag. It wasn't a sweet debut for him since, India had to face a defeat in the match.

With focus, dedication and discipline towards the game Kohli has now become one of the greats in the game of Cricket. In these 11 years he has surpassed a lot of records and has also set new ones wining many of the Awards and Trophies all around the World. He is now the fastest cricketer to reach 10000 runs in ODI's. He has achieved various milestones in Cricket both as a player and also as a Captain.
